Screenshot mockup and launch image exporter

Turn a plain screenshot into a clean image for your product page, a launch post or a directory listing. Add a background, padding, rounded corners and a soft shadow, hide private details, crop and export several exact pixel sizes at once. It is free, has no watermark and needs no account.

Everything runs in your browser. Your screenshot is not uploaded, not saved and not kept after you leave the page. That matters because real screenshots tend to contain real data.

Frame your screenshot

Free, no login and no watermark. The image is decoded and drawn in your browser. It is never uploaded and nothing is saved, so everything is gone when you reload the page.

How to make a launch image from a screenshot

  1. Paste a screenshot with Ctrl+V or Cmd+V, drop a file on the box, or choose one. PNG, JPEG and WebP files up to 20 MB and 50 megapixels work. If a file is refused, the message says whether the type, the file size or the pixel count was the problem.
  2. Set the look. Pick a background, then adjust padding, rounded corners and shadow. Add a plain browser bar with your own address text if the screenshot shows a web page, and an optional caption. Crop away anything the viewer does not need, such as empty margins or a toolbar.
  3. Hide private data. Drag rectangles over names, e-mail addresses, keys or numbers on the preview. Choose Cover to paint a solid colour or Blur for a softer look. You can also add a rectangle from the keyboard and type its position in pixels.
  4. Choose the sizes. Tick the output sizes you need, each given in pixels, or add a custom size up to 4096 pixels on a side. Pick PNG or WebP.
  5. Download one image at a time or all ticked sizes in a single ZIP file. The files are created in your browser from exactly what the preview shows.

Tips for product page screenshots

Check that the text is readable after shrinking

A launch image is often seen small, in a feed or a link card. Look at the preview at a reduced size and ask whether the one thing you want people to notice can still be read. If body text turns into grey lines, crop closer to the part that matters instead of fitting the whole window.

Give the image one centre of gravity

A full dashboard shows everything and says nothing. Crop to one screen state that proves one claim, for example the finished report or the empty state with its call to action. A short caption can name that claim in a few words.

Cover customer data and keys, do not just soften them

Real screenshots often contain names, e-mail addresses, invoice amounts, API keys and tokens. Cover them with a solid rectangle. Blur is baked into the exported pixels, so it cannot be undone in the file, but a light blur on short text or digits can sometimes be guessed. If a secret was visible in a screenshot you already shared, rotate it.

Keep sizes consistent across a launch

Use the same background, padding and corner radius for every image you publish, and export all sizes from one setup. A set of images that look related is easier to recognise than a mix of styles. Small screenshots are enlarged to fit the output size and can look soft, so start from the largest capture you have.

Check the platform's own guidance

Sizes differ between sites and change over time, and this page does not claim a requirement for any of them. The sizes offered here are common starting points. Look at the current documentation of the place where you publish before you rely on a size, and test the result with the social card preview tool.

Use the product launch checklist to see where images fit in the rest of your launch.

After you export

Run the files through the batch image optimizer if you need smaller downloads for a web page. Then paste the address of the page that uses the image into the Open Graph and social card checker to see the card as a visitor would.

Frequently asked questions

Is my screenshot uploaded anywhere?

No. The file is read and drawn by your browser on a canvas, and the downloads are created on your device. Nothing is sent to a server and nothing is stored, so the image and your settings disappear when you reload or close the page.

Which file formats can I use?

You can load PNG, JPEG and WebP screenshots up to 20 MB and 50 megapixels. You can export PNG or WebP. The type is checked from the file itself, not only its name. If your browser cannot write WebP, the tool makes PNG files instead and says so.

Is there a watermark or a sign up?

No. The images have no watermark, there is no account and there is no limit on how many you create. Transparent backgrounds are available when you want to place the framed screenshot on your own page.

How safe is the blur option?

Blur averages blocks of pixels and the result is baked into the exported file, so the original pixels are not stored in it. Even so, a blurred area can sometimes be partly guessed, especially short text and numbers. Use the Cover option for passwords, keys, tokens and customer data, and check the preview before you download.

Which sizes should I export for sharing?

That depends on where you publish, and requirements change. The tool offers common wide, square and portrait sizes in exact pixels, plus a custom size. Check the current documentation of each site, and use the social card preview tool to see how a link card is likely to look.

Does the exported image match the preview?

Yes. The preview and the download use the same drawing code with the same settings, only at different pixel sizes. The preview is capped at 1200 pixels wide, and details such as the blur block size scale with the image so the result looks the same.
