GitHub awesome lists for startups and indie tools
In October 2026 we looked at 48 curated awesome lists on GitHub that collect startup resources, launch sites, SaaS tools and web tools. We opened a pull request to add RadarMakers or one of its free tools to 36 of them. We left the other 12 alone, and the table says why. Stars and the last push date come from GitHub on 2026-10-28. A pull request is a request, not a listing: the maintainer decides.
Two reasons to read this page. To find resources for founders, browse the startup resources, design, marketing and SEO, and developer and web tools groups. To find a place to suggest your own tool, start with launch directories, then look at the group closest to what your product does. A recent push date shows that someone edited the repository. It is not proof that outside pull requests are accepted.
Our logs record contribution rules and external pull request history for some of these lists. Before submitting, read the current rules and check whether recent contributions from other people have been merged. The directories and launch sites we checked in the same week are on free startup directory requirements.
